We were in our apartment for most of last week. I intended to get some sewing and cutting done on my RSC blocks but that didn’t happen. On Sunday, I made 3 teal blocks with what was already cut.
There are more scraps to be cut up and more pieces to assemble. I am hoping to get enough for my first Hands to Help quilt for the season. But, if not this month, then the next month. I might even add lattice to make or borders to make it work. First, let’s see how many teal blocks I wind up with and then a more informed decision can be made.
I did pull some of my yellows and golds from Medford; they are with me in Peaks. I will be cutting those up tomorrow or Tuesday when I continue catching up on the teals.
Next up, is my OMG. I am working on my Stay at Home Round Robin although maybe it should be called Stay at Home Round Cardinal. Anyway, it is coming along. I have done week 1 curves and week 2 diamonds. I am still looking at how many of the next 4 prompts I do (stars, signature blocks, applique or rail fence, and churn dash). My plan though is to finish the top, at least, for my One Monthly Goal! Like the end of February, I missed the link-up for this. The real reason I do these is to get them done, so I am still declaring my goal!
