I hopped on board and joined in the SAHRR (Stay at Home Round Robbin) from Gail of Quilting Gail. I have linked up to the intro blog entry so you could see what this is all about. You could do this anytime, and Gail is pretty flexible and you don’t have to do every round.
My deicision was to used my Mariner’s Compass block that I designed for the Partners In Design QAL by the Sea this summer. I have 2 blocks that are similar. I kept the other block in case it wants to play too, but time will tell. Right now, I am content working with the teal and purple compass.
Week 1: Piano Keys
Chris of ChrisKnits was the host for the first week. My keys did not extend to the border. I don’t envision doing all the rounds so, I thought I would see what Week 2 was before committing to the keys in the corner. I had enough fabric if I needed it, but I did not use it.
Week 2: Plus Blocks
Emily from Darling Dogwood was the host for the second week. I decided to do a narrow plus block on point and think it was perfect choice.
I’m keeping this brief in order to get it posted before the deadline!
