I love this quilt. I made it in 2011, you can tell by the label! This gorgeous line of fabric was called Graphic Rhythms by Gerald Roy. It was one of those fabric lines that seemed to disappear quickly. This is one of those times I wonder why didn’t I buy more???
It was exhibited in the 2011 Rising Star 24th Annual Show from October 15-16 at Cary Hall in Lexington Massachusetts.
I liked the circles quilting with the graphic nature of a very simple quilt.
The backing fabric was one of my favorites! I still have a little stashed. Look, the label even reminds me that I used wool batting and noted that on the quilt. I have so many quilts I want to wash and see how they work out.; this one too is on that list. I think it will be a tummy time mat when special child comes to visit (someday!).
Thanks to Sandra at mmmquilts! for hosting Throwback Thursday – first Thursday of the month – be there or at least check out what other gems people are showing from the past! The link above shows you the dates and features from the past!
